The day has arrived! We took the plunge and are having a brand new furnace and A/C installed. This is not a cheap endeavor; I think the money we are spending outweighs pretty much all of our rehabbing costs to date. But, this is a big investment and should last a good 15-20 years. Plus, there are tax credits available so right now is a good time to get this taken care of. And hopefully it will save us some money in the long run as well since this furnace/ac promises to be more energy efficient, etc... Justin and I are both really looking forward to having a very quiet furnace... we will NOT miss the clunky rattling that we've grown accustomed to!

Since I was up there, here's the view of the skyline from our roof! Wish we could get a roof deck back up there... it's pretty nice! Maybe someday...
